Words are my super power.

I have been a writer since I was a young child. When I was seven years old, my mother threw me out of the house and told me to “go play” with the neighborhood kids. As an introvert who loved her books, I opted to hide under the monkey bars in our backyard and write a story in the dirt. That same year, my elementary school counselor told me I was good with words and I should continue writing. I have. It is my art and personal form of therapy.

Professionally, my love of words has manifested itself in my work as a content strategist, site search product lead (query clustering is my jam), director of employee and executive communication and more.

Past positions include:

Healthcare
Director - Design Operations
Managing Editor
Program Manager – Enterprise Content Management
Content Strategist & Site Search Product Lead
